Anyone here bought a unit at Arcoe Residences? Curious how your experience has been so far.
• How long did you have to wait if you got a pre-selling / near-RFO / RFO unit?
• And for those already living there, how’s day-to-day life?

27F Filipino CPA here working remotely for a US company. Currently earning around $3k base + around $700 average monthly bonuses. Monthly expenses are below ₱50k and I currently have around ₱1.2M savings.
I initially reserved a 60sqm single attached inner unit in a subdivision in Batangas with around ₱17k monthly amortization (pre-selling and construction will probably start in July/August). But now I’m tempted to upgrade to a 121sqm corner lot unit with around ₱33k monthly amortization within the same subdivision (60% constructed)
Honestly, the corner unit is WAY nicer. More open space, better ventilation, better lighting, and I think it would really improve my WFH setup and overall quality of life.
The problem is I’m not sure if it’s the smarter long-term decision.
Some context:
* I still want to travel internationally at least once or twice a year
* I also eventually want to buy a car since the location isn’t very commute-friendly
* I also think there’s a chance my future “dream house” will eventually be something I build with my future spouse instead
* Developer also has mixed reviews regarding delays/quality
On the other hand:
* I can technically afford the ₱33k based on my current income
* Turnover is still far away so I still have time to save
* I plan to aggressively pay principal yearly
* If I don’t live there long term, my parents can use it or I can rent it out eventually
Part of me says:
“Get the nicer corner lot while you’re young and earning well.”
Another part says:
“Stay practical and maximize flexibility while building wealth.”
Would appreciate honest opinions especially from people who bought property in their 20s.
