The Job Market makes no sense and I don't know what to do anymore
I have been unemployed for the last few years and have applied to hundreds of jobs. I have tried networking through social media and I have tried volunteering as well. Literally, nothing works.
I went to an interview yesterday, and the head of the interview panel criticized me for not knowing who would be on the interview panel before hand. According to them I should have called or emailed to find out who would be on the interview panel.
I also got criticized for not knowing more about my future coworkers, and the location where I would work.
Honestly, I don't get what their point was, but if I have been unemployed for years how can I improve my situation?
Will a Masters Degree help or should I just keep trying for heaven knows how long?
