Rice Pudding turned brown..

I've been making the same recipe for many years now, but yesterday I used lactose free milk and the pudding turned a brownish color. My recipe calls for slowly cooking the rice in 4 cups of milk with the sugar and salt. It wasn't burnt (learned the hard way early on this recipe is slow and steady) and the only thing different was the milk.. Has anyone exp'd this before?

2020 Problems

Hey y'all. A few weeks ago I started my truck and a bunch of warning lights came on (Auto High Beam Problem, Collison Mitigation Problem, Lane Keeping Assist Problem, Road Departue System Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem) had the battery tested under a load which came back good, checked all the fuses no issue. I've seen in other threads it is the sensor either in the emblem or behind the rear view. Is there a way to find out which for sure without taking it to the dealer? The dealer closest to be quoted $2000 for parts and labor which is way out of my budget. Just my luck the lights would come on as I was taking it to trade in! 😪🤦‍♀️😪

For those involved in the BCBS premium settlement

Check "unclaimed money (state)". I had BCBS from 2015-2018 & had no idea we overpaid on our premiums until I was messing around online and found I had almost $500 sitting with the TX comptroller for overpayment of premiums. Apparently they sent the checks to our old address. May get lucky and find other $ owed to you.

My kiddos 4 & 5 loved astrobots & astros playroom. They've beat both.. I was looking for something similiar, we tried ratchet & clank rift apart and they were not enthused. Sackboy (my personal favorite) is a bit too much for them. I read on another thread that Mario Galaxy was comparable. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Wish Astro 2 would hurry up and come out!

Strawberry cheesecake has been my favorite flavor for many moons, but here lately it's hit or miss with the graham cracker. My kids also love it and out of 4 pints 2 had absolutely none and 1 had very little. Thinking about making it myself and adding it to the pints like a graham cracker core.. Any thoughts on how they make it? 🤔
