One of my most recent artwork for my upcoming book: US Navy carrier aircraft of the 1950s.
This artwork depicts a F4U-4 Corsair from VF-193 Ghostriders attacking a truck convoy with HVAR rockets.
All done on Cinema4D, Substance Painter, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. What do you think?
On November 18, 1952, Lt. R. Williams fought a swarm of seven MIG-15 alone for 35 minutes. Williams shot down four of the MIGs eventhough the MIGs had superior performance and Williams F9F-5 Panther had suffered significant damage.
This airwork is done for the upcoming book "US Navy Carrier Aircraft of the 1950s" which will be released in early 2027.
Hope you like it!
