Hello fellow explorers,

I'm trying to decide if i should hire help from the fine local watering holes and assign to an outpost.

Will they be vulnerable to aggressive local wildlife? I'm hoping they are and can die from that. Not (only) because I'm sadistic, but really just want a sense of some realism.

I want to know if arming them is even needed. I know attacks from humans occur, just not sure i need to worry about terrormorphs etc.

Just a wee question re: planetary POIs seen when in orbit. I had thought that those icons represent a slight difference then if you randomly come across it while on surface. Not necessarily anything major. Maybe a weapon or survivor needing evacuation, etc.

So i wound up in orbit and saw the icon for a crashed ship. I landed and explored and found nothing out of the ordinary. Why would that POI be highlighted then?

Not a big deal, more just being curious. Those types of locations i see in orbit i focus on exploring.
