Side effects 5 day rads on someone close to 70
I have to make a decision this week. I had a re-excision a month after my lumpectomy followed by an infected seroma and cellulitis. The internal scarring from the loss of half my breast tissue has caused internal scarring with skin fibrosis already that has the orange peel look. I'm honestly tired of hurting and freaked out by the whole experience. My team has downplayed everything so far, so I don't buy that radiation is the easy part. I need to hear reality from someone close to my age because I'm convinced that in treatment, age makes a difference in side effects.
