Wondering if this is worth going to HR, I am feeling targeted.
So recently a new GM has started at my store. She is not new to Ulta and was a GM at another location.
There are three employees at my store who work once a week, typically. I am one of those three. I work on truck days and the other two usually work on Sundays. Apparently, this is what I’ve heard from coworkers, the new GM has an issue with employees who work once a week “just for the discount”. Which yes, that is a huge perk for us BUT for me personally, I love the people i work with and it’s a nice change in my week from my usual corporate day to day! I’ve been doing so for years at this point. My prior GM didn’t have an issue and my OM constantly praises how quick and efficient I am on truck.
All this to say, I am not on the schedule for the next three weeks. The other two girls are. She has not communicated with me about opening up my availability. Not sure why I wouldn’t be on the schedule. I am going to reach out to her tomorrow but wondering if this sounds fishy to anyone else?
