Bowling Center doesn’t value leagues
We bowl in a Friday morning league in San Diego, CA. The year is split into a long winter league and a shorter summer league.
We bowled week number one of the summer league on May 1. On week two, they told us that week three would be canceled because of a school group they had coming in. Then, yesterday with only two days notice they advised us that this coming week would also be canceled due to a large school group coming in. Hopefully they will welcome us back next week (after three weeks since our last time bowling).
I understand them wanting to grab the one-time cash of the students coming in, but our league is there week in, week out all year long.
For them, it’s just numbers. For the league members, it’s something we look forward to all week. I wish that they appreciated us more.
