Building a cybersecurity startup, anyone else in the same boat?

Would love to connect with like-minded founders. Whether you're early-stage, pre-revenue, or just validating an idea, let's talk. We might be able to help each other out, share learnings, avoid mistakes, or even collaborate.

DM me. Let's build.

Met a founder quietly building SaaS products out of Ajmer 👀

Came across Abhinav Goyal (IIT Hyderabad grad) who's been building multiple software products from Ajmer for the past 4+ years.

His company Celebrare makes software for photographers and wedding studios. Got his first distributor at a Delhi exhibition, then landed 40 clients in a single day at a Jodhpur photographers' meet.

Also launched GoProductive, a remote team tracker at ₹49/user/month, in just 2 days with his team.

Now running ProductiveSpace in Ajmer, basically a hands-on dev training setup for college students who want real industry experience.

Not a unicorn story. Just a guy from our city building real products, hiring locally, and figuring it out as he goes.

Ajmer mein bhi kuch ho raha hai. 🙌

Why does Ajmer have zero tech meetups? Jaipur is literally 2 hours away and thriving

Bro Jaipur has Google Developer Groups, cybersecurity meetups, startup events every other week and Ajmer has nothing. Literally nothing.

We have engineers, we have college students grinding DSA, we have bug bounty hunters but zero community. Everyone is just silently working in isolation.

Like who is supposed to start this? Because clearly nobody is stepping up.

A simple monthly meetup where devs, security guys, and students just connect would change so much. Jaipur's ecosystem didn't build itself, someone just started.

Ajmer mein koi nahi karta because everyone assumes someone else will.

Agar koi interested hai toh comment karo genuinely thinking about pushing something here.

Ajmer has zero cybersecurity startups and it's embarrassing

Bro we have people clearing OSCP, doing bug bounties, reporting CVEs, and not a single pentest firm in the city. Not even a small one.

Everyone just relocates to Delhi or Bangalore because "kya rakha hai Ajmer mein" meanwhile Jaipur has full VAPT companies printing money from compliance work.

The market is literally here. Local hospitals, CA firms, schools, all have trash security and nobody is touching it.

Cooked city ngl. Anyone actually building something here?

Why doesn't Ajmer have a single SaaS startup? (genuine question)

Bro I've been thinking about this for a while. Ajmer has engineers, we have decent internet, cost of living is literally nothing compared to Bangalore or Pune yet zero SaaS companies here.

I've seen a few Salesforce consulting firms pop up (which is basically just implementation work, not actual product building) but no one is actually building something. Like where are the founders?

Jaipur is 2 hours away and they're cooking. Even smaller cities are putting out indie products now.

Is it the mindset? Lack of funding networks? No one to bounce ideas off? Because the raw talent is clearly here half my college batchmates are grinding LeetCode and landing SDE jobs outside the city instead of staying and building something.

Ajmer could genuinely be a low-cost startup hub if someone just started. The infrastructure gap isn't even that big anymore.

Anyway, if anyone's actually building something here lmk would love to connect.

Hi everyone,

I know this is a long shot, but I’m trying to find an old friend from my childhood. His name is Tarun Logani.

We studied together at Mascot School, Ajmer until around 4th class. After that, I changed schools and lost contact completely.

We had a small group back then — 2 boys and 2 girls:

  • Tarun
  • Me
  • Tanisha (not sure about full name)
  • Shakshi (not sure about full name)

I remember Tarun used to live somewhere near Mascot School.

I don’t have much hope of finding everyone, but I thought maybe I could at least reconnect with him. If anyone knows him or if this sounds familiar, please DM me.

Thanks a lot 🙏
