Does Ajmer have a strong "Settled life" culture compared to hustle culture?

Maybe I’m living in a bubble, but almost everyone I meet in Ajmer seems already very settled in life.

Good family business, own house, stable income, cars, connections… overall people seem financially comfortable here compared to many other cities.

Not saying it’s a bad thing at all. In fact it’s good to see.

But sometimes I wonder:
Are youngsters here still hungry to build new things, take risks, explore freelancing/startups/online business etc.?

Because usually when a city has ambitious people trying new things, hustling, experimenting and building businesses, the whole city grows faster with time.

Or maybe I’m just seeing one side of Ajmer?

Curious what others feel about this.

Corrupt and bribe seeking employees in Ajmer Development Authority.

The most corrupt and bribe seeking state govt employees are in Ajmer Development Authority.

I filed RTI application but they deliberately hidden many pages from file without any reasons and gave me only selected pages which were not relevant. On objecting, the Public Information Officer and his staff angrily said do whatever you want, we will not give full information.

The were actually having a bribe seeking mindset, that if applicant is not paying bribe, why to easily give him information.

The case went to State Information Commission but these corrupt employees don't even fear from that and are submitting false statement that information given and false allegation on applicant in order to misguide the Hon'ble Information Commissioner.

The condition there is pathetic. Be alert. They can ruin any innocent citizen.

Anyone in Ajmer trying to build something of their own and feeling completely alone?

I’m from Ajmer, and for some long time now, I’ve been trying to build a startup here.

The problem is… I have absolutely no background in business.

I don’t come from a business family. I didn’t study entrepreneurship or finance. Most of what I know, I’ve learned by randomly searching things online, making mistakes, and figuring stuff out the hard way. And honestly, it gets exhausting after a point.

The biggest struggle isn’t even lack of money or resources.

It’s the lack of people around you who get it.

People you can talk to about ideas without feeling stupid.

People who understand the stress, the self-doubt, the guilt of “not doing enough,” or feeling stuck while everyone else seems to be moving ahead in life.

Sometimes you just want someone to say, “Yeah, I’ve been through that too.”

That’s why I want to build a community here in Ajmer.

Not some corporate networking thing. A real group of people trying to build something meaningful.

Could be:

Someone with just an idea

Someone in the early stages of a startup

Someone already running a business

Freelancers, creators, developers, marketers

Mentors, investors, operators

Or honestly anyone who relates to this journey

The idea is simple: We meet maybe once a week, sit together, talk openly about what we’re building, what problems we’re facing, help each other out, share contacts, opportunities, feedback, maybe even find co-founders, partners, team members, investors, etc.

Because entrepreneurship sounds exciting from the outside, but emotionally it can be very lonely.

And I genuinely believe Ajmer needs this.

Our city keeps losing ambitious people because everyone feels they need to leave to “make it.” But if all the people who want to build something leave, then Ajmer will never develop that environment in the first place.

Why can’t we build that culture here?

Why can’t the next good company come from Ajmer instead of everyone migrating to bigger cities?

If even a few people here relate to this, maybe we can start something real together.

Aggressive stray dogs in Panchsheel Nagar

There are a few stray dogs in my colony that have become really aggressive lately. They chase people almost daily & there have already been 50+ bite incidents in the area..today they almost bit me too while I was walking
The worst part is that Nagar Nigam helpline numbers are not working & online complaint portal also doesn’t have any proper category for this issue!

Im not against stray dogs but this situation is getting dangerous..what can actually be done?
