My dog attacked my other dog today. Such a defeating feeling.

I have a two year-old dog who’s a black German Shepherd and neutered and I have a mini Aussie whos not neutered who’s a year and a half and today my older German Shepard bit my mini Aussie aggressively around the back/neck area. We have a fenced part of our backyard and my German Shepherd escaped the fence when we opened the gate so when we try to bring the German Shepherd back inside the fence the mini Aussie growled at my German Shepherd, and then caused my German Shepherd to bite the mini Aussie, but it was aggressive. He picked him up and shook him a little bit. Luckily, there was no injuries and no blood after we separated them but the mini Aussie ran back at the Shepherd to attack him after we separated them which of course we were there so we were able to catch him and separated them entirely. They’ve had their moments before, but never this aggressive and we just tell them to separate and normally they do and that’s it. They’re fine. The mini Aussie has always had anxiety issues, which we just started medication weeks ago, which he ran out a couple days ago. It was very shocking to know this happened especially because I wasn’t the one who was there me and my wife were gone and it was my family who saw them and seperated them. I’m trying to see what the best way to go about this is because I’m a bit lost right now or maybe shocked. I’m not sure. I just don’t know what the right thing to do is. Both of my dogs are very loving and they play together a lot and they groom each other they get along, but I don’t know sometimes they just bicker except today which it was really aggressive. Anyone have any ideas or steps I should take I don’t have a lot of money but I’ve looked into boarding and train or professional training. We work a lot so we have maybe 1-2 hours a day to train them MAYBE so if anyone has anything, let me know. Not sure what the correct thing to do here is.
