I am a life science PhD in early career biotech industry thinking about a career pivot to ER.

Can anyone with ER experience or who knows people in this field to chime in what they think.

1. How is the career trajectory? Is upward movement difficult?

2. Do people stay in ER or pivot to IB/VC or corporate BD?

3. How is the total compensation? Does it increase significantly or stagnate?

4. Are the hours as bad as Google says?
