Did she microcheat or I was just overreacting?
She was my first girlfriend, we talked for 6 months and she was my girlfriend for 4 months. We were okay, very sweet, and she had a lot of good traits, we hardly had any problems except for the usual arguments. I was there when her friends left her, stayed with her, and also became her best friend when she had no friends. And then suddenly these people came into her life, of course, I was happy because she had friends now but I didn’t feel comfortable with one of her friends because they seemed really close, like, right away. I didn’t hide that from her, I ranted to her that I felt differently about that one friend compared to her other friends. I thought everything was okay because she assured me and made it clear that she would distance herself. So I expected everything to be fine, but I had access to her Instagram and I could see the messages and stories from that friend on her account with pictures of them together. I told her about that and she said again that she would distance herself. But I kept seeing their pictures and she was deleting messages on Instagram, but I would notice it first in my notifications. I let it go because I thought nothing would change. Then I saw she made a post on IG with a picture of the two of them and when she found out I had seen it, she deleted it. I told her everything and she kept lying saying she had distanced herself until she admitted she hadn’t but she stressed to me that there was nothing going on between them. I never said there was something going on; all I wanted was for her to explain why she was lying to me. And she said she was doing that because her sister liked that friend, so she wanted to bring her friend closer to her sister? I didn’t understand why she was like that when I had already told her and she knew it would hurt me. And every time I would talk to her about it, she would change the topic as if everything was okay. Even her sister who chatted with me was messing with me.
