Fix if you use GeForce NOW but play Steam client and loaded an EPIC account with an existing character
Before they added extra character slots I had an epic account w/ an alt character (I typically play w/ Steam). Soon as I got on Geforce NOW I put that epic account info and was frustrated because no matter what I did it would show my old alt character and not my main on Steam. So I did the following:
Visit the epic website and sign on, go to account options, password and security, and sign out everywhere.
Go to the netease WWM account page (https://www.wherewindsmeetgame.com/) and sign on with your Steam credentials to pull up your main.
Go to Account Center at the top then linked accounts, you should see your Steam one already there.
Create (or link) a netease account while you're on this page.
Create a NEW epic account using a different e-mail and bind it to the netease page you should still have open; now if you log onto epic it'll have your Steam account characters playable.
When you log into Geforce NOW (since you reset all logins earlier), it'll ask for your new epic information. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE NEW EPIC ACCOUNT INFO or else you'll have to re-do step 1 and sign out everywhere again.
Congrats, you can now play your main Steam characters using this Epic "shell" account via Geforce NOW.
