Minimum Cash Req for Visitor Immigration Approval

Leaving for Bangkok in two days would be landing at the DMK airport, really stressed about the minimum cash requirement. I visited Thailand twice (Aug 25 w bf and 2022) just for 3 days during my recent visit.

I’m going with my boyfriend again this time, however, I am really scared because I have an Indian passport + I am travelling twice within the same year. I’m only going for five nights and six days and I don’t want to carry more than BHT 15,000 for my trip because I will not need it. Everything is already booked in advance and paid for.

I know that it’s very rare to get checked and mostly 99% of the people never get checked, but I am a little scared that we might be unlucky. Exchanging sm would really put me in a loss cos INR value is really bad rn.

Any advice. People say showing bank statements etc won’t really matter need physical cash.
