Need Help, if Possible, with Enterprise Reservation
I have a reservation I made a little over a month ago for a large SUV (wagoneer, expedition max, etc.). I am due to pick up the vehicle tomorrow.
I get a call tonight, after the branch and all other branches are closed, telling me they don't have the vehicle. Now, i'm scrambling and can't find a solution. Everyone is closed, even competitors, and the local airport doesn't answer the phone because they are busy.
Is it typical that a branch would call a customer the night before a reservation, after hours, to tell them they don't have the car or a solution?
Is there anything I can do outside of driving down to the airport to see if they have the vehicle I need so I can transfer the reservation?
Really trying to find a solution quickly. I know reservations aren't guaranteed, but i'm struggling to believe they couldn't have alerted me early to give me the ability to find a solution.
