I hear many worrying about thier walnuts being carved...

But what about.....carved walnuts?

I've seen some interesting antiques and some beautiful carvings. Any reason these aren't more popular? I personally find them beautiful.

I imagine they are difficult to brush and patina well, but if one is fastidious enough, would they be able to bring a set like this to glory?

I'd love to hear the thoughts of my fellows!
