Help! My cactus isn’t doing too well!

This is my 3 year old easter lily cactus. It was a gift from one of my teachers in high school. Recently, it got root rot, so I cut off the rotting bits, let it callous over, then stuck it in dry soil.
The soil is really well draining.

Currently, it is turning yellow, with spots of blood red coloring.

It does not smell. It is not soft. It’s not rotting. And I’m really worried about it.

I only water it once or twice a month.

It usually gets full sun outside, around 10-12 hours, where it’s usually really happy and dark green. But right now it’s in my room under a growlight.

Nepenthes help. Sunburn and partial root rot

So last year I bought two nepenthes from the greenhouse I work at. I put them in full sun despite knowing it would hurt them, so they ended up with sunburn, then put them in the wrong soil and ended up hiving them root rot. They’re both alive, in proper soil and lighting, but I want to know if this one will root, and if I can make a cutting of it to cut the tiny baby off, and get a total of three plants.

Also how deep I should put them in the spaghnum moss.

How would your OC react to The Colossus?

Btw this drawing is like 3-4 years old.

For more info, his usual size is about 3-5 meters tall. Muscular and covered in tendrils, eyes, and mouths.
