Lawn is looking great

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised at how good my lawn is looking. I bought the Lymow mostly for the time savings. But with it being able to mow more frequently, taking less grass off each time, I am amazed at how much better my lawn is looking after only 4 or 5 weeks. I'm not one that has to have a pristine looking lawn. But I'll take it as a side effect. Well at least a decent looking lawn. The weeds will prevent it from every being pristine. But last year it looked down right crappy. Now it's looking great.

Besides the frequency "light" mows, the other thing that is helping is my not using the zero turn. Between the mower's weight crushing the grass down, and the turns pulling and ripping the grass, the zero turn was definitely not good for the lawn.

The look of rack studs

Am I the only one that finds rack studs really ugly?

Not trying to start a war or anything... ignoring ease of use and practicality considerations and discussong just their visual aesthetics... what do people think? Ugly? Cool? Or somewhere in-between?

I personally think they destroy the looks of otherwise great looking setups. And wonder if I am alone.

A friend came over to look at my Lymow One Plus. Now he wants one. But he is a bit bummed he missed the sale. Does anyone know from last year, does Lymow do periodic sales?

Fun post for a change of pace.

  1. What did you name your Lymow?

  2. Why that name? (What was your inspiration?)

For me:

  1. "Sherman".
  2. Because it looks like a little tank... which made me think of Sherman tanks.
