I've been reading a lot recently on the political response to the Nowak case and specifically discussions around the National Police Race Action Plan, which ranges from the sensible to the deranged. I remember thinking that the Plan was problematic when it was first announced but that's not to say I'm in any way confident there's a direct line to the officers' actions when dealing with Nowak. Interested to hear people's thoughts, especially those of the non-police people who frequent this sub.
