Im trying really hard to get into the first book of the series but for some reason it feels like nothing is really sticking. Is this a common thing with this book or am i doing something wrong with reading it through audiobook format? Any help to understand the world would be a huge help. I liked mistborn era 1 because it felt like i understood the world to a reasonable amount but Gardens of the Moon makes me feel like im missing important info about the world that isnt in the book.
