Just beat RE9/Requiem for the first time, exceeded my expectations and I have a ton of words to say!
So, I just beat RE9! Cool, right? Anyways, throughout the whole game I didn't feel scared at all honestly. The basement part SHOULD've gotten me to be scared but honestly it was a breeze when I figured out The Girl is scripted. Grace sections were not threatening at all and I genuinely found resources to not be scarce, instead I had like enough ammo to kill all the lickers in that 1 room at ARK.
For Leon, I found his combat to be way more enjoyable in 9 than 4. MAYBE because of the fact that I can just get my hatchet back immediately, or that figuring out the enemy parry windows were more enjoying than just pressing space whenever I saw it to do so in 4. I didn't get all the guns, and I'm not sure if there are more, but from what I've seen from the Combat Points shop, the weapon varieties are lower than 4... which is a minus for me.
Storywise this game was quite nice, I liked Grace's story and how she acted throughout the game. She seems to be THE MOST NORMAL character i've seen so far in resident evil as a main protagonist.
The bossfights were also enjoyable, especially Mr. X and Gideon, I wasn't that good at parrying but Mr. X immensely enhanced my parrying skills and I went on to take like 0 damage until the elite guards in ARK with Leon.
