What was the lane doing
Preface: I’m a new bowler (2/3 months in), I throw a twist that’s been surfaced down to either 1000 or 500 (I told my buddy to hit it with as much as he could, and didn’t ask for specifics).
I bowl at the same place, and my favorite strike position is standing on 26/27 and throwing it at 15. Like I said I’m very new, I miss by several boards OFTEN, but today I felt like I was hitting my target pretty well and could not find the pocket to save my life. Missing left resulted in either going brooklyn or through the face, missing right was missing everywhere. Some of the time it hit so much friction it went past the 2 pin, sometimes it hit the friction hard but straightened out and missed wayyy low. And like I said when I thought I was throwing a decent shot it was either through the face or light pocket at best.
I know I could ask chat gpt (I don’t wanna do that), or I could spend a lot of time trying to understand how to read the lane but tbh it’s confusing as hell to me. If anyone knows what the lane was doing based on what I observed, I’d appreciate the insight
