Series on Prime ("Capture") With Last Two Episodes Not Free
I was enjoying the Prime series 'The Capture' and just noticed that episode 6+ has to be purchased. This is really poor form from Amazon - a Prime series should be free to Prime subscribers. All of it.
Before anyone mentions their usual trick of making the first episode of a series free, but requiring a subscription for the rest, this isn't the same - its an Amazon Prime series, and it should be free to an Amazon Prime Ad Free subscriber.
Do any of you think this is acceptable?
UPDATE: there are two shows on Prime called 'The Capture'. It seems I searched for one (which is Prime) but somehow ended up watching the other. In any event, to put a paywall in front of the last two episodes of any series is a cheap trick - second episode, fine, but don't drop it on us after 5 episodes.
It's also amusing to note that when you click on the series I watched, you get the trailer for the other one!
I don't see any of the references to BBC or Peacock that others have mentioned.
Finally, just to really confuse us, there are now 2 versions of episodes 6-8, one set are free episodes and the other for purchase. I guess I will click on the free ones and try not to be confused when it plays a trailer for a completely different series also called The Capture....
