Looking for urban fantasy/fae romance series with Ash, Nyx, and a Hayabusa motorcycle

Hi all — I woke up thinking about a book/series I read a while back on Kindle, possibly through Kindle Unlimited, and I cannot remember the title or author.

I believe it was an urban fantasy / paranormal romance series with fae characters, possibly also vampires or other supernatural beings, interacting with the human world.

The details I remember:

  • There is a male character named Ash.
  • Ash rides a Hayabusa motorcycle.
  • Ash is more fae than anything else, from what I remember.
  • There is a female character named Nyx, but I do not think she is the main FMC/love interest.
  • Nyx has a sibling/fraternal relationship with Ash — almost like his sister or chosen sister.
  • Nyx may have been abused, traumatized, mentally unstable, or emotionally damaged because of past trauma.
  • The FMC is possibly human, or possibly an unknown supernatural, and she eventually gets into a romantic relationship with Ash.
  • There may be a mythological element to the series as well.

It was definitely romance/romantasy-adjacent, and I’m pretty sure it was a series, not a standalone.

I know this is a long shot, but does this ring a bell for anyone?

TIA!

I didn’t see my specific issue below when I searched so I wanted to make my own post for some answers (hopefully!).

My AI detection score in Grammarly is always 0%, even when I directly paste something from ChatGPT or perplexity.

As I’m getting into the home stretch of my dissertation (which I am writing myself), I’m trying to use AI to help me with outline and organizing my thoughts.

Does Grammarly really fail at detecting AI text?
