Need some help with my ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Edition (temps)
I just got this one yesterday and it is a beast. Coming from a 2070super the change is quite noticeable but the hotspot temperature is freaking me out.
Running stock, playing Arc Raiders at 1080p with cinematic configuration and native AA for FSR I got 55c for the GPU temp and around 90-95c for hotspot. The room temp when I did this test was around 10c (middle of the night, winter here) and the fan speed was really loud at around 3000rpm and pulling 325w from the wall.
After doing some undervolting and stuff (see the image below, that's my actual setup) It stabilized pretty well on 2400 rpm and almost 86-90c but maybe there's room for improvement? I think the rpm is still a little too high (and noisy). I've never had an AMD GPU so I'm kinda afraid to touch something an fk it up.
Any suggestions? Also, I've just tested this setup with Arc Raiders as the other games I play (valorant/cs2) doesn't seem to bother the gpu at all (fans always off)
PC specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5600x - Cooled by a Deepcool Gammax 400 v2
Mobo: Asus Rog Strix B550i
Ram: 32gb DDR4 3600hz Trident Z
Case: NZXT H210i (Small one, I know)
Fans: 4 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM - 2 Intake (Front) 2 exhaust (1 top, 1 back)
Update:
After some play around the fan curve, I got this:
I think it's pretty solid, it doesn't go nuclear unless the hotspot goes 90c+
