I’m planning to buy a new base model iPad, but I'm wondering if I should wait for the 12th Gen. Are there any rumors about it coming out in Fall 2026?

I am struggling to choose between the Huawei MatePad 12X and the Pad 7 Pro. For my use case in 2026, I want a device that is truly productive and capable of handling all my professional tasks efficiently. I also prioritize getting the best performance for the price. Please advise on which one I should select.
