Hello! I (19F) just got asked to go to the movies by a guy from my classes. I was dropping hints I wanted to see a movie and he asked if I would want to go with him. However, it was never called a date outright. Also, we don't have an established friendship- we have slowly been interacting more the past couple weeks.

Can I assume its romantic? I've been making subtle moves on him the past two weeks haha. I would ask him if it's a date but the people I've asked around me said not to.
