Why didn't one of the Venerable destroy the Heavenly Court and take the fate gu to themselves?
I’ve been wondering about this while reading. If Venerables are basically the strongest beings in existence and can dominate an entire era, why didn’t one of them just completely wipe out Heavenly Court? Some of them clearly hated Fate or had goals that conflicted with Heavenly Court, so why not destroy it permanently instead of leaving schemes and arrangements behind?
