Could it be possible? Two rank 9 or more of a given path, because the conditions of rank 9 ascension is:

1. Be rank 8, producing white litchi immortal essence

2. Have SGM on ones given path

3. Have at least 300,000 dao marks

4. Breakthrought dao blockade

So as long as you being a rank 8 manage to overthrow a venerable from his SGM attainment is it highly possible to ascend to rank 9? Meaning there would be two rank 9 of a given path.

The amount of humiliation he puts his enemies under is absolutely next level. No matter how far he went, he will still go further and when they think the worst is over, it becomes twice as bad. It is like telling his enemies to open up their body so he can kick them better in the stomach and when they do and he kicks them, he forces them to say thank you and then he kicks them again and then he promises them to stop if they say thank you again and when they do, he kicks them again. Fang Yuan is the most evil character i have ever seen, not because he is the most brutal or deranged, but because from his perspective, he is the only being with value in the world and anything else besides himself having value in that world is an impossible concept that can never exist.

Hello y’all, i’m currently at the arc where fang yuan and bai ning bing are in shang city, bai ning bing just lost to yan tu and had to give up her vital gu… but i remember it was stated that in the battles you can’t demand your opponents vital gu? also wasn’t it stated very early on that the vital gu can’t be changed later on, that’s why fang yuan was looking for another gu at the very beginning but the moonlight gu, so he wouldn’t have to make it his vital gu (and then was really happy when spring autumn cicada was his vital gu)..

and also, what’s the benefit of having a gu as your vital gu, other than during a fusion that it can’t be destroyed? did i miss it or will it be revealed later on? i can’t imagine it being important for most people if it takes longer than rank 4 to get a positive from having a specific vital gu

I knew it ended abruptly but in the middle of a battle at the beginning of what could’ve been the best arc it’s just too cruel.

I’ll definitely miss RI, the gu system is the best fighting system I’ve seen, the characters feel reals and political skills is important, the world is so vast, diverse and detailed it feel like the author was there. it’s such a shame that it end like this

My first thought after getting introduced to Thieving Demon Venerable was that he might be trying to go back to his world cuz he's trying to open the space door. But I felt like that was a stretch on my part so I'm only keeping that in the back of my mind.

Why doesn't FY ask Fairy Li Shan what otherworldly demon mean, since the black tyrant already knows about the Zly being addressed by Giant Sun's will as such?

We've seen him refine lots of gu to rank 8 during the novel after he got Regret Pool. For example, Landscape as Before was elevated to rank 8. My question is, how did he get the rank 7 and rank 8 recipes? He didn't even know the rank 6 recipe for Landscape as Before. Did he somehow deduce it with no prior foundation?

And what about rank 9 recipes? We know that he got the rank 9 recipe of Heavenly Secret from Limitless' derivations. But he somehow knows rank 9 recipes of gu like Heavenly Web. How? Is there any explanation in the novel?

I'm on fate war 2 and Zi wei just got enslaved and she did the best she could have since spectral soul was in the soul suppression tower and they did have a soul expert who was only around for a month before dying who didn't say anything but I personally would had have someone else soul searching spectral soul and they just give me the information with a mortal information gu or I soul search they after they soul search spectral

What if someone passes 3 myriad tribulations but doesn't trigger heavenly dao blockade.

Will they no longer have any tribulations and can only Wait till fate is destroyed to trigger heavenly dao blockade to become venerable.

Spoilers. Okay so i alredy asked this question but most people didnt understand what i was talking about and i worded it badly as well so here we go again. In chapter 1401 it is stated that zi wei aranged it so feng jiuge will save fang yuan from wu yong so that heavenly court can use FY to get to red lotus inheritance and destroy FY after that. I said that its completely retarded because fy can get a crazy power up once he comes into contact with it or otherwise escape heavenly court somehow. Also after killing fy they could refine the spring autumn cicada again and maybe take red lotus inheritance themselves if they wanted it that much and they genuinely could have left it all to the wu yong or maybe intervened with their 2 rank 8 immortals to take away the profits after he killed fy. Genuinely fy is the only big problem last leader of the shadow sect otherworldly biggest trouble maker and demon ect why play with your food and not just get rid of it, it is said quite often that a tiger uses full force to hunt a rabbit in the novel yet rank 8 wisdom immortal supposedly couldnt see that obvious truth and allows fy escape and get stronger. Now i read up to chapter 1427 and feng jiuge himself says this: "Such a person truly needs to be killed by every means possible to prevent future troubles. But the Heavenly Court is trying to use him to obtain the true inheritance of the Red Lotus. This is extremely unwise…" LIKE COMEE ON😭😭😭. The only logical explanation for this is if spectral soul switched from dragon dude to zi wei and manipulated her into letting fy live because hooow rank 8 wisdom immortal can allow this. This irks me quite a bit since ri was quite logical so far and i liked it for this

Isn't it suspicious how Fang Yuan never talked about what sort of otherworldly dao marks he has? I mean, this is one of the greatest mysteries in the story and yet I'm surprised that it's a mystery in the first place. How come he never really gave much thoughts into what sort of unique dao marks he may have? I mean we can already eliminate several conjectures.

"Maybe he can't view his dao marks" - We've seen him inspect his dao marks dozens of time throughout the text and even further we know he's clearly capable of telling the difference between his dark path dao marks and his earth path dao marks. He knows exactly how many dao marks he has and what path they all belong too.

"Maybe he can't notice anything special from a specific path?" I mean, by now Fang Yuan is far too experienced, far too knowledgeable, and more importantly has deep attainment in way too many paths in order for him to not realize if for example his blood path dao marks are a bit different from a normal batch of blood path dao marks. I don't view the logic that maybe his otherworldly dao marks originate from a minor path as valid reason for why he never really thought about them either.

Fang Yuan was capable of recognizing both pill and painting path dao marks the instant he saw them despite them being some of the most secretive paths out there yet.

I personally believe that Fang Yuan probably already knows what they are but GZR is keeping it a big secret from us as he planned a grand reveal but then my main thought isn't necessarily whether he knows what path his otherworldly dao marks belong too or not then it is why do you think GZR is creating so much mystery around this tidbit? Why we be shocked at the grand reveal?

I'm curious on any thoughts and perspective on this matter.

I’m around chapter 1717 and confused about Red Lotus and Spring Autumn Cicada.

Red Lotus originally became Rank 9, then used SAC to return to the past. Shouldn’t that change the timeline, similar to Fang Yuan’s rebirth?

So how does Duke Long know that Red Lotus became Rank 9 and used SAC? After the rebirth, shouldn’t Duke Long in the new timeline have no knowledge of those events or even know that rebirth is possible?

In chapter 1717, Duke Long clearly remembers Red Lotus and mentions his “rebirth,” which seems to imply he remembers events that should have been overwritten.

Am I misunderstanding how Red Lotus’s SAC works, or is this explained later?
