This would be my first job and I wanted to ask when it came to the I9 documentation needed, if it’s done online or if I print out the form and bring it to orientation day with the first section filled out. I’m unsure what I should do, I’m guessing I only need the first page with both sections, not the other 3.

So I recently got an offer to work and went through the whole background check and registration. However the background check is still screening and it’s been several days. What should I do if it doesn’t finish by my orientation date? Do I show up with the first section of an I9 completed? I’m unsure what the next steps are in the hiring process if the background check takes longer.
