I've been asked to make a reversible vest with two colors of silk shantung. After some investigation it seems pretty easy to do. I'm planning to use a pattern I know well and enjoy sewing, is it really as easy as doubling the outer fabric pattern pieces and sewing it as if it were a lining? And would darts cause any issues with this course of action?
