Is this Chinese propganda?
(I'm going to make the case that this sub functions as Chinese psyop/propganda and I will prove it at the end. Also I think this post will be deleted. skip to the end see my main point)
why can't this subb tackle actual complex topics like lack of political freedoms, state repression, humans rights abuses, quality of life failures, etc?
This is a form of propaganda, cause confusion, neglect to talk about the real issues, spread misinformation and as a result discredit China critics. Most the commentars are not understanding that they are being used as propaganda.
The idea here is to make the people who passively view this sub think 'Oh the people who hate China are often crazy and make stuff up, maybe I should be more skeptical of negativity about China'. The result of this sub is people will start to question narratives about actual things the Chinese government does wrong, because for every crazy commenter there is likely dozens of normal people viewing it and questioning china critics as a whole.
Its so bizarre and frankly questionable that this subb keep failing to make an oppressive, dangerous and morally bankrupt state actually look bad. I think the people here are generally being taken advantage of by a proffesional psyop, I don't think people here are knowingly involved most likely.
It's estimated one million Uygh*r musl*ms have been forcibly detained.
If you search 'Uygh*r musl*ms' or 'human rights' on this sub theres no relevant results, not one but its everywhere else on the internet. This is 100% an advanced propaganda operation benefiting China. Virtually none of the serious issues with China yield any results, this is very deliberate.
And finally, no this is not site wide reddit censorship, search '*yghur musl*ms' on reddit and theres an abundance of outcry. Seems only this sub censors the topic but is obsessed with criticising Chinese manufacturing and electric vehicles (something China genuinely does very well)
This sub is Chinese propaganda to hide human rights violatio*s, mass oppression, state violence, tort*re and systematic cruelty. I've had to censor because potentially you get autobanned.
