I still own a house with my ex, but i dont want to
Hi,
I broke up with my ex a few months ago but we still own a house together. I originally wanted to sell the house, after I moved out, but my ex still lives there and decided she wants to buy it. Which is fine, except the progress is really slow, I'm not sure she can get the money to do this. She doesnt update me on anything and gets angry when I ask about updates. I still own 50 percent of the house, pay for insurance and we cant legally seperate because we still own the house together. This costs me a lot of money and mental energy and is draining me. It's almost been half a year now and I want the house to be sold so I can close that part of my life, have peace and move on. My ex makes this impossible cause she is not willing to cooperate. I tried everything from being nice and patient to being strict and setting deadlines, but everything I do results in a fight. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Thanks!!
