I haven’t seen my best friend in three years. We live in different states. We planned a trip and she said I’ll have to ask her new man what he thinks. She did and proceeded to say that he is coming ( because he cares about her safety. ) Meanwhile, I live somewhere completely safe and I did not invite him. Is what I’m feeling valid. I am in a relationship, but I feel that is completely unnecessary and no trust at all even though she says that he does trust her… or is this normal to most people
