So, i had met an AM prospect 4 months back.

Things didnt move forward due to kundali back then but we both started talking again after 1-1.5 month of no contact, she mentioned her parents have agreed to discuss things again and move forward. So all good with that.

Now while talking again, about past, she mentions she was in a relationship.

Catch is we had discussed this during 1st month and she had said no. This came after 3 months. And my trust was shaken a bit.

And it was a serious relationship of 3 years and friendship of 4 years before that so that is impactful to anyones life.

Her defence on why she didnt mention this was - as many things were uncertain she refrained from sharing, where im seeing it as break of trust.

She does seem to very much interested in taking this forward, our values align, seems like a good person, mutual respect, warmth - literally everything else.

But not able to take this out of my head since we had that convo.

And last thing her ex checked out my linkedin profile twice in last 2 months lol. How i know? She mentioned his name now and same guy visited my profile before. I havent told her yet.

So i had met a AM match few months, we talked for 2 months and met multiple times - everything clicked and it was mutual so we both told yes after that.

Both families also got along well they even went together to check kundali but unfortunately it didnt match and it was a dealbreaker for them.

She tried to convince but they didnt proceed forward.

So ofcourse we ended things and parted ways respectfully 2 months back.

I took a break for a bit and moved on with my search.

Now we started talking again since a few days, she was mentioning her parents were still considering and looking at alternate things to bypass kundali mismatch.

But still she isnt sure if its gonna work out 100%, tho they are still looking at ways.

Of course as a person or as a partner i dont really have second thoughts about her but couple of things are bothering me -

1. Communication hasnt happened between families yet, its just between me and her. So im left in the dark with this information i can do nothing about.

2. She mentioned their family looked at another prospect but guys family rejected before it even started due to financial differences.

She was honest about it, but i feel did i become a become a backup option not for her but for her family to reconsider.

Not sure how to move forward here.
