Yes or no gap year?

Here’s the stats:

TX resident, T15 undergrad.
3.53 GPA, MCAT 504

Close to 900 clinical hours
750 research
Multiple leadership roles
Good volunteering hours

Good essays and story behind why medicine.

Currently, a rising senior. I was thinking about applying with current stats then retaking in June. The other option is to take a gap year and retake the MCAT and restudy for a good period of time. Honestly, I don’t know what to do and would appreciate some advice.

What MCAT score do you think makes up for a bad GPA?

If my GPA is 3.5 with 3 C’s in my app, what MCAT score do you think COULD help make up for that? I have good ECs with plenty of leadership and volunteering. I also have what I believe to be a good story behind “why medicine” and an immigration story that somewhat explains the reason behind the bad GPA.
