I currently have the quicksilver & the platinum card with them so i went ahead & applied for the savor card last month & was approved but when i finally got my card & went to make a purchase at target — it was restricted.
i called customer support asked if i applied for the card & was told to submit an ID, proof of income (bank statements), along with a utility bill which i did the same day.
I’ve been calling — transferred to multiple reps & supervisors still nothing. i’ve now been waiting for weeks for an update so i called them again just to be told that they can’t verify my documents that i sent.
When asked what other documents do they need to verify myself , i was told that no other documents can be submitted & it will remain restricted ??
i asked what was wrong with what i sent previously, they just kept repeating the same thing without telling me what was the actual issue with the documents.
i made the decision to just close the account & save the headache because i’ve been given no type of resolution to my account when it’s been a month.
I’ve been with capital one for about 5 years now & this has been far most the worst experience i’ve had with them as far as getting an account unrestricted.
Has anybody ever had a similar experience with them ?
