I purchased a couple items from ebay for the spend $100, get $50 offer. The $50 was on hold until last night so i decided to check on it. Turns out that ebay categorized the $100+ transaction as 2 separate ($72~ & $45~) transactions therefore Cap1 just clawed back the $50. 🤷🏾. Fortunately these were two items I'd intended to purchase anyway, but losing $50 burns, it really burns 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Checked off a major credit card milestone today. The next phase is strategically increasing my credit limit and lowering the APR, even though I maintain a strict rule of never carrying a balance.
How long do you think this will take to get? I already have a bank account with capital one and already have had an old closed secured card before. Obviously it will add to my online account I already have. So that will probably speed it up right?
I was pleasantly surprised this AM with an increase! It's my only CC. Divorce and poor choices years ago ruined my credit. I decided to actively start to fix it in May. I applied and got my card in June with a 750$ card. Hoping in 6 months I get another increase.

I bought a MacBook from Apple with a 25% offer through the extension on Safari. I activated it and checked out about 2 hours later, and it still showed “Activated” at checkout. The Shopping Trip is recorded, and I have a screen recording of the purchase.
It’s been over a week since delivery, but no reward is showing as pending. Support keeps telling me to wait 30 days, but Apple only has a 15-day return window. I’m worried I’ll lose the return option before knowing if I’ll get the 25%.
Should I return the MacBook or keep it and trust that Capital One will add the reward later? Has anyone had missing rewards manually credited after 30 days? Does checking out 2 hours after activation matter if it still showed “Activated”?
