For the most part everything about the game is great so far (22 hours), but one thing I noticed is the water could be tweaked a bit. Irrigation, for one, could be improved/buffed. currently the only way to irrigate is to dig downward canals, which is impractical early game (which I addressed in an earlier post), and just unrealistic. The romans were quite advanced, when it came to water manipulation, and I think it would be a lot of fun to have more of those elements in the game.

I feel that terrain modifying should be much cheaper. It costs thousands of gold to do even relatively simple projects, which bars you from that part of the game until very late into it. I think it would be much more fun to be able to play with it earlier. By the time I can do large scale terrain projects, I am already done with that world.
