I've been trying to play the game but I keep running into stretching textures blocking my view and the screen freezing while I can still interact with the game, I even see some parts of the terrain disappearing, I tried the -dxlevel command but it cause some other issues like the combine orb leaving being a big while flat texture and some missing textures on alyx

Playing portal 1 for the first time and noticed the voicelines cut off early compared to the subtitles, is this intentional? Because I notice her voice glitches and stutters sometimes
