Google Pixel 9 XL Pro Proximity and Light Sensor Issues
Forgive me if this is tagged with the wrong flair.
A customer is brought me a Google pixel 9 XL Pro it was in for a screen replacement the screen was replaced without a hitch. After it was given back to the customer it came back in saying that the proximity sensor wasn't working in the light sensor wasn't working properly.
I opened it up and the proximity sensor and light sensor look to be without damage but the proximity sensor is not giving any information to the phone which I confirmed with a sensor test app. I looked at it under a microscope it doesn't appear to be damaged at all.
Any help with next steps would be greatly appreciated. It seems like the options out there is replacing the motherboard and I would really rather prefer to not have to replace this customer's phone considering I can do the soldering there just doesn't seem to be any proximity/light sensors available.
