Resy account just got banned/permanently deleted. I know what the comments will say, “you must’ve bought or sold reservations” or “you used a bot” but I can promise you I have not done either of those things due to this exact risk.

I have a favorite high-profile restaurant in NYC where I got VIP (crown) and will randomly book reservations just in case I can go and will check daily for open spots. If I can’t, I cancel it at least a few days before. I have been multiple times. (Assume this is the flag?)

Has anyone ever dealt with this? I tried fighting it with platformsecurity team but they didn’t budge and said “this decision is final and will not be reversed” so I emailed customer support.
