Sport scout/ rogue seating position. Ergonomics
Looking to get my first bike and eyeing the scout lineup. I initially went in and checked out the sport scout and felt the handlebars and seating position felt too forward. Then I sat on the sport scout sixty and realized they have mini apes instead of the risers on the regular scout, which felt alot more comfortable. Maybe it was the mid controls as well on the sixty. But anyway I've been seeing some Rogues on fb marketplace and notice they have the same mini apes as the sport scout sixty. Regardless if its a rogue sixty or regular they have the same bars. I wanted to know if the rogue feels more akin to the regular sport scout with the riser or the sport scout sixty (mini apes) when it comes to ergonomics, since they dont have any in store. I also sat on the super scout and that felt super comfortable, what I imagined a Cruiser to feel like, but even though the classic look is nice its not really the vibe I want to go for. The dealer was saying I can extend the risers but to me it looks funky. I'd rather have reduced reach handlebars and tilt/sweep them back a little.
