Looking to buy a house and the inspection came back with several issues, most I know how to resolve.

Not to sure about this one though, how significant is this? Yard is relatively flat, so entire regrading may not work. Thoughts?

Inspection recommended regrading 6-8 inches away, but how? Just dig a trench for lack of a better word? Doesn’t exactly solve the dirt to wood contact on the siding.
