Very uneven cable tension
I have a 1998 jayco eagle 12 SO. Bought it knowing it would only lift the rear. I found the square tubing that holds the spring looking rod for the right front to have been ripped out of the floor and aggressively pulled into the winch. I pushed it back to where it belonged and secured it back to the floor. I put the rod back in place and put the little square plastic push piece that pushes the lift tubing back in place. Now I'm ready to use it all again but what's holding me out is the cable of the side I worked on is fully tensioned in the down position. All other 3 corners are slacked like they're supposed to be. How is this possible? No cables broke, so there was no cable footage lost. You can see the stress that the eyebolts took at some point. The only thing I can think of is maybe there's so cable bound up inside the metal square tubing that holds the pulley? Nothing else makes much sense. Thoughts?
