For context, I saw my model on Makerworld and was confused because the person who uploaded it never gave me credit or linked to my original model, which was required under the copyright I posted it under.

I came to find out there was another person who re-uploaded my model on Printables (not under a remix) and changed the copyright to public domain. He even posted it as a make and gave me a review on my original model that I have posted on Makerworld and Printables.

It honestly wasn't my best model, so I'm not mad over it, but I'm confused about what safety precautions protect creators who post their models for free.
