In March of this year, I completely reset my PC because I bought a new SSD. I made a backup of all my Minecraft files (about 2GB) and transferred them to the new Windows installation. I played Minecraft for a day and everything worked fine, then I stopped playing until today.
Today, I found this app called ArnisMC, which converts real-world places into Minecraft. I opened the app, selected my city, and then launched Minecraft. When I joined the world and set the render distance to around 40, the game froze. After a few minutes, my entire PC crashed, and I had to force a shutdown.
After restarting, the PC seemed fine, but Minecraft was using 90% of the CPU. I uninstalled everything related to Minecraft, moved the worlds folder, and reinstalled the launcher and MCBR, but the game still doesn’t launch.
I don’t think this is related to ArnisMC, since I hadn’t opened Minecraft since March, and I already uninstalled everything and moved all the world files. Any idea what might be causing this?
