Bone Cancer in Rottinois

Hi, my 11 yr old bestest bud has been battling with a limp from February, some vet visits from then to March were inconclusive and just ended up being a take meds and monitor further situation even following x-rays at the time, in the past month his left shoulder has swelled up alot and the rest of the limb is too, from poor lymphatic fluid drainage

Went to another vet and he said it's bone cancer, took these xrays and said there's nothing they can do but euthanize, I plan to call him again and ask more if chemo or amputation might be possible because I don't want to let him go, he's very down but not in the greatest of pain, however doc said that mass on his shoulder joint has covered the bone joint to the point it could actually fracture at any time

Any thoughts I guess
