Horrible time of day and hard light made this one difficult for me; I *think* I saw a couple of Horned grebes out this day, but both Horned and Eared are expected at this time of year.

I was out on a road trip recently and was photographing this Willet and the White-faced Ibis in the background; I did not notice the bird in the bottom until I was culling images.
This was a flooded field outside of Burns, OR on 4/19/2026. My first impression and inclination is Wilson's Phalarope, which *should* be expected there at this time of year; but, I didn't actually *see* it or any, other Phalaropes on this trip so I wanted other eyes on the image.
